What we're building next, and where each thing stands right now.
A feature within Dartform that automatically generates a deployable, client-facing web dashboard from a developer's existing backend models and schema.
Serverpod includes prebuilt tables that are not currently visible in Dartform. At the moment, Dartform only displays the tables explicitly created by the user.
A data import feature would be useful for loading seed data during development and testing, as well as importing existing datasets into a database during data migrations.
Add local storage support and integration to enable developers to build offline-first applications with Dartform. Solutions currently being explored: Drift, Hive.
Explore a migration feature that makes it easier to move a project from one Dart backend framework to another directly within Dartform.
To allow developers to deploy their Dart backend applications directly from Dartform, with a streamlined workflow from development to production.
In previous versions, we pulled Dartform AI back while we went back to the drawing board and re-evaluated the underlying model. One of the key areas we’re now exploring is using a credit-based model instead of scaffolds.
This list isn't final, and it isn't ours alone. We're constantly re-evaluating every part of Dartform to make sure it actually serves how you build — and community feedback shapes what moves, more than anything else. Thanks for being part of Dartform.
